In the year one thousand eight hundred twenty-nine , the third day of the month September, in the afternoon at five o’clock have before us assessor , delegated officer of the Registry of births, deaths and Marriages of the grietenij(= municipality) of Haskerland, province Friesland) gecompareerd ( = appeared) :
Wiebren Lammerts Woudstra, old thirty-one years, leertouwer (= prepairing leather), aanbehuwd zoon (= son-in-law)
And
Sijtse Siegers van der Laan, old twenty-seven years, butcher, son of the deceased,
both living in Nijehaske, welke (= these) have declared us , that
Sijtske Reins Zijlstra, old fifty-eight years, without profession, born in Boornbergum, living in Nijehaske, widow of Sieger Sietzes van der Laan, butcher when he was alive, and there deceased,
daughter of Rein Bouwes Zijlstra, and of Minke Sipkes, both deceased in Dragten, and in those time married. ~~~~
On the third day of the month September , in the morning at nine o’clock hours, in the house with number 112 in Nijehaske has been deceased, and have the declarers this certificate, after this is read to them, besides us, signed
